84 Eagle Heights Road Nestled in the rain forest of Eagle Heights on Tamborine Mountain is The Australian School of Metaphysics and the Alternate Gallery. The school was purchased to be used by students who come from around the world and Australia to study the Master of Metaphysics beginners course, Advanced course and Brotherhood course. These three courses are six days of residential teaching which open students to the teaching of metaphysics. The house is fully self contained. The kitchen is complete with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, hot water jug and iron and ironing board. All crockery, cutlery and pans are also provided. The house is fully furnished. A study room is provided downstairs with a library of new age books. The laundry, has a washing machine and tumble dryer. A washing line is also available for the days the weather is fine. TV, video, and a computer are also available for use in the house. In the winter enjoy the pleasure of a log fire. Labyrinth paths wind through the rain forest not too far from the school. When you enter the forest and sit and enjoy the peace that only nature and spirit can bring. Surrounded by nature the house is a wonderful place of retreat and spiritual energy. Tamborine Mountain where the School and Gallery are situated; is a one and a half hour journey by car from Brisbane airport, and 50 minutes from the Gold Coast of Brisbane. The NSW border is only one hour away. Transport can be arranged if you come from overseas or interstate. Coolangatta airport is 40 minutes from the mountain. There is also a Train direct from Brisbane International and domestic Airports to Comera should we for some reason not be able to pick you up at the airport. But that is unlikely. We know that once you experience the peace and quiet of the mountain, that you will not be able to resist coming back. It truly is a magical place to spend some quiet time. Retreats and Holidays at the school Don't want to do a course or just be in the energy? Then come and stay at the Institute and spend some time in the Maitreya's energy (it permeates every room) either on a retreat or as a holiday. Accommodation costs are $100AUD per night, food is self catering. A deposit of 10%AUD would be required to book your accommodation. Come for two days or two weeks, the mountain will feed your body with fresh energy, the Maitreya's energy will feed your soul. |
