Answer: By living in the now, one does not worry about the future or live in the past. When one lives in the now, one gives the body permission to release a lot of suppressed emotion. This is often known as depression. When it comes to the surface, one should let it go. If one is not trying to avoid it – which one would do if one were in the now – then it would come to the surface to be cleansed away. When one is not living in the now, then one is concerned over so many things past and future. If one is in the now, then all one concerns oneself with is the now. One can plan for the future, but then let the future happen instead of making it happen. It is not easy to explain; it is far better demonstrated.

Most souls have depression and do not know they have it. Only by being still and living in the now – with no concerns for anything but that moment of time – can one allow all that is buried deep within to come to the surface. As one does this, layer upon layer can be released because there is nothing stopping it. The soul is simply living in the moment. It has total faith that all its needs will be provided. It has no fear, doubt, or insecurity. It is one with the Divine. Free of worry and concern, it can release all that is buried within, often from many previous incarnations. As one cleanses away the deeply buried emotions and feelings, then one becomes more intuitive and sensitive to the world of Spirit and its energy.

The earth plane also provides a Self. This is the Devil/Satan of the Christian faith. This energy, for it is an energy inside of you, will do everything in its power to stop you from moving forward. It is basically a battle between the Self and the Higher Self, which is the divine part of you. When you do not have consideration for others, you do not allow a soul to grow. In effect, you affect their life path by your decisions. Let each soul make their own decisions.

For many incarnations the Self has been in control; it has made the decisions. But one day, we ask you to follow our directions, to listen to what we wish for you to do. We do this in order that you may grow and expand your soul. Your Self becomes indignant at this and wants to do what it has done for so many incarnations. It is at this moment in your soul growth that many souls stop growing. They cannot see the reason behind our actions, and anyway, “Why should I listen to you?” It is at this crucial time that many souls fall by the wayside and fail yet again.

Letting go of your own logic and accepting what is given to you is the first step in spiritual growth. Many would say that this is manipulation. My channel’s ex-husband was told many times by well-meaning souls that he was being manipulated by us, the Masters, because he listened to us and not to his Self or others like himself. Yet in just a few earth years he spiritually grew the equivalent of one thousand lives. Is this manipulation?

We want to help you and the earth plane to grow spiritually. If you are to grow personally, this means listening to us and to our instructions in any form. “How will I know it is not my Self telling me this?” you may ask. Because we will ask you through a channel, or in the highest form of meditation, or in your dreams. It will be in your heart that you will feel this prompting. When it is there, it is from us.

When it comes from the mind it comes from the Self. When it comes from the heart it is from the Divine.

The left brain, focused in the mind, is the part that allows humankind to identify with the physical plane and to realize that they are separate entities with wishes, thoughts, and desires. If these desires, wishes, and thoughts are of a positive nature and do not interfere with another person’s free will, then all is fine, but this is most often not the case.

The left side is connected to the “I AM” part of people. The “I AM” is the part that says you want to do this, you want to do that, and you do not want to get involved in anything you don’t like or do not want to do. It is the selfish part of you! Most of the decisions of the left brain revolve around pain and pleasure, usually on a short term basis.

The right side, connected as it is to the Higher Self, looks at a more long-term vision and comes in from the Helpers, Guides, Teachers, and Masters from the plane of Spirit. Meditation is a method of allowing you to shift your current left brain focus in day-to-day activities to the right brain, the creative and spiritual, where the Higher Self dominates and has a direct connection to the Divine. Think and ponder on these things and you will know that it is true.

Many of the problems in this area resolve down to a single issue – left brain versus right brain. As some people are aware, the left part of the brain is the part that deals with “logic and time.” It deals with looking at the past, evaluating it, and then coming to a conclusion about the present or the future. This looking at the past and working out what the future might be can be anywhere from a few seconds to years. It is the mind or the Lower Mental Body of an individual. The right side of the brain deals with the creative and spiritual side of you where time is not involved. The right side of the brain handles inspiration coming in from the Higher Mental Body and above. Or to put it another way, the right brain handles information coming in from the highest planes of consciousness where Spirit resides.

It’s that simple! The left side of the brain deals with the past and the future, while the right side deals only with the “Now,” this instant of time. The left side of the brain is restricted to conditioning in this life and past lives, while the right side of the brain has no such restrictions. It has access to all knowledge and wisdom. The left side is under the dominance of the “Self “or “ego”, while the right side is connected to the Higher Self, the spiritual and divine within you.

The left side of the brain is very useful in doing many things that require systematic thought in the field of mathematics, cooking, programming computers, science, and even driving a car. The left brain is very good at analyzing all sorts of things and coming to some conclusion as to the outcome of a set of conditions. These conclusions may be right or they maybe wrong; but nevertheless they are and can be very useful in day to day activities. Only “time” tells.

The measure of the channeling is the content and the message. Does it speak to your heart? Do you identify with it in your soul? If this is the case, then it is truly channeled. How many people have said the writings or the teachings have helped them? Do not let fear come into your being. Trust from the heart and soul and you will have your answer.

 All souls communicate with God, or the Ultimate Being. Only a few can channel and produce the energy to transform, change and enable people to help themselves. These souls have the destiny to do this. Their energy can move mountains. They are truly of the Divine. If the message is about the messenger, then look elsewhere, for it is the message, not the messenger that is important.

In the future, all humankind will, if they wish, be able to find their own answers and to become their own masters. Only then, can humankind break away from bondage and war, and there will be peace upon the earth plane. When humankind no longer follows like sheep and follows their own thoughts and divine inspiration, truly then will they be divine. Truly, then, those of the spiritual realms will speak through them and to them individually.

The purpose of the soul on the Earth plane is to grow. The soul has lived many incarnations, and it is working to free itself from attachment, desire, greed – all of the emotional ties which tie many of you to the earth plane. It is about faith, it is about trust, it is about surrender to a higher power. Yes, it is about letting go of the Self. The Higher Self will always lead you to safety and, may I say, to a better life and better conditions. It does not want you to live in a negative way. It does not control either, but suggests the higher way.

The Higher Self has all the answers, but the Self keeps getting in the way. The purpose of the soul is to conquer the Self so that one may experience the peace and tranquility of total love from the Divine and with all that you need being manifested. There is no struggle, no fear, no desire – just a knowing that all that you need will be there. Often this manifests as more than you desire.

Doing this is not easy and the path is rocky and hard. For those who do it, they will find a wonderful way of life. They also have the knowledge that there are no more incarnations, that their time on the earth plane is finished.
